Warren Sanders is the patriarch of this family-owned-and-operated development and construction firm. Owning his own firm for more than 24 years has given him the experience and background necessary to proactively manage S & S Homes of the Central Coast, Inc. and lead it to its current success. Mr. Sanders is a born entrepreneur. During the past 37 years of his career, he has sold a variety of products. His experience has prepared him for his current task, selling the “American Dream” of home ownership. Warren has been involved in several fields of endeavor, and during those years he has benefited from continued educational courses in accounting and financial management.
After achieving his Plumbing and General Contractor’s Licenses, Warren has been responsible for the construction and sales of hundreds of homes. He recently expanded S&S Homes’ territory to include Kern County, where the construction of over 600 homes is currently underway. Mr. Sanders is uniquely qualified as President of S & S Homes of the Central Coast. He looks forward to continuing the success of the corporation.

A strategic partner in the firm, Janet has used her vision to guide the family-owned company from a small beginning of building less than a dozen homes annually to the current building rate of approximately 100-150 homes per year.
Intimately involved in the day-to-day operations of S&S Homes, Janet provides leadership and management that mirrors the adopted mission statement of the company. She is responsible for implementing policies and procedures improving the overall quality and effectiveness of the corporation. By discerning the needs of homebuyers, she has developed solutions to business challenges and consistently improves customer satisfaction.
As a team leader, Janet fosters a success-oriented work environment. She is ever alert to opportunities to attract and recruit high performance “key” personnel in order to improve the company’s products and distinguish S&S Homes from other builders.
...Read LessMr. Steven Sanders has the building business in his “blood”. Since the age of 14, Steve has been following the footsteps of his father, learning everything he possibly could during his high school summers. Since graduating, however, Steve has spent his career climbing up the ladder of success as laborer, assistant superintendent, Project Superintendent, Project Manager and presently he is President of Construction. Steve is highly knowledgeable in all facets of construction; however, he has specialized in the underground construction field, and has extensive hands-on experience in concrete foundations, framing, plumbing and deck construction.
Because of his years as a superintendent, he is also skilled in overseeing the work of all other trades such as electrical, heating and air conditioning, roofing, cabinets, drywall, just to name a few. Over the past several years especially, Steve has gained experience in the demanding tasks of competitive bidding, writing contracts and scope of work language, and inspection of work prior to payment of invoices. He has become a master at negotiating with the on-site subcontractors and consultants to obtain the quickest completion at the lowest cost to the company.
Steve has completed Building Codes, Customer Service, Warranty Repair, and Management courses at Cuesta College. With this knowledge he has applied himself to his craft for the past 20 years with skill and wisdom. Steve has played a key role in building hundreds of homes in the Central Coast and Kern County areas. S & S Homes is proud to have such a well qualified individual to manage on-site construction.
