2.3 Third-Party Services Used on This Site

This Site does not have its own contact or inquiry forms. It relies on the following third-party services:

  • Homeowner service requests. Warranty service requests are submitted through an online form hosted by a third-party form provider (Logiforms). The information you enter there, such as your name, address, phone number, email, and a description or photos of the issue, is sent to us so we can schedule and complete your service request.
  • Community websites. Information about homes for sale, and requests for tours or sales information, are handled on our community websites (vistamontaire.com and palmettoestateshomes.com). Those websites have their own privacy policies, and they may use additional tools, such as a customer relationship management service, to route your inquiry to a community sales agent.
  • Videos. Some pages include videos hosted by YouTube. A preview image for each video is loaded from YouTube (Google), and the video itself loads only after you choose to play it; when it does, YouTube may collect information as described in its own privacy policy.
  • Fonts. The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser sends your IP address and basic technical information to Google.

If you call or email us, we use the information you provide to respond to you.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use commercially reasonable physical, technical, and administrative measures to safeguard your information. While we strive to protect your data, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, data handling, or content of those websites. You should review their policies before providing any personal information.

7. YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

This section describes rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), and other California privacy laws.

7.1 Information We Collect, and Why

In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers and contact information (name, postal address, email address, phone number), which you provide when you submit a service request or contact us. We use it to respond to you and to schedule and complete warranty service.
  • Home and service information (your home address, a description of the issue, and any photos you send), which you provide with a service request. We use it to diagnose and complete the work.
  • Internet or network activity (IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested), which is collected automatically by our web host. We use it to operate, secure, and improve the Site.

We do not collect sensitive personal information through this Site, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would give rise to a right to limit its use.

7.2 How Long We Keep It

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, such as for the length of our warranty and service obligations for your home, and as required for legal, tax, and recordkeeping purposes.

7.3 Disclosure, Sale, and Sharing

We disclose personal information to service providers who help us operate the Site and serve you (for example, our form provider, web host, messaging providers, and trade partners who perform warranty work), and when required by law.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months, including the personal information of anyone under 16. This Site does not use advertising or remarketing cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this Policy and provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link before doing so.

We do not use automated decision-making technology to make significant decisions about you.

7.4 Your Rights

Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to:

7.5 How to Make a Request

To protect your information, we will verify your identity before acting on a request, usually by matching details you give us (such as your name, home address, and phone or email) against our records. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you; we will ask the agent for your signed written permission and may ask you to confirm your identity with us directly.

We will confirm receipt of a request to know, delete, or correct within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we need more time (up to 45 additional days), we will let you know.

7.6 Do Not Track and Opt-Out Signals

This Site does not track visitors across other websites or over time for advertising, so it does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals or to opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.

7.7 Shine the Light

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 allows California residents to ask what personal information a business disclosed to third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

8. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information, please contact us so we can remove it.
